Part-Time Agency Driver

 

CABVI is seeking a Part-Time Agency driver to provide the transportation of employees, consumers and equipment, as needed. 

KEY JOB ELEMENTS 

  • Transport CABVI employees and consumers utilizing Agency vehicles in a safe and professional manner.  Assist individuals in and out of vehicles, as needed.  
  • Loading, unloading and transport of CABVI equipment and supplies to scheduled destination, as needed.   
  • Provide outstanding customer service. 
  • Adhere to CABVI policies and procedures 
  • Report any mechanical problems to Facilities Manager.   
  • Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.  
  • Maintain the cleanliness of CABVI vehicles inside and outside. 
  • Perform light facilities housekeeping to include organizing and sweeping out the garage upon request from Facilities Management.  
  • Adapts to change and completes other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager. 
  • Consistently achieves annual performance objectives. 

COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS 

Must have the ability to operate agency vehicles (non-CDL) in accordance with state and federal regulations. Must have the ability to use an IPAD and CABVI transportation software.  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

Occasionally requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Sitting for long periods, frequent bending and lifting (depending on cargo), getting in and out of the vehicle multiple times a day.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the key job elements. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

Itinerant position spending extended periods behind the wheel of a vehicle, navigating various roads and weather conditions. Exposure to outdoor elements, varying levels of physical activity and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and functionality. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

Must have a clean and valid NYS driver’s license.  Must have high school diploma or equivalent with at least 5 years of passenger driving experience.    

$17.00/hour
