Material Handler I

This position is responsible for the Movement of product from one location to another. Delivery of raw materials used for production and palletizing and shrink-wrapping of finished product. May use the following equipment: flat carts, hand trucks, pallet jack, shrink-wrap machine & Little David auto sealer.

 

KEY JOB ELEMENTS

· Ensure production employees have ample raw materials to work. Provide additional work material as needed.

· Assist in production reporting to supervisor. Accurately record raw and finished product.

· Responsibility for completion of a portion of the Social Security monthly reporting. In the absence of the CI Administrative Assistant, will complete the full monthly reporting duties.

· Locate product on racking.

· Ensure cleanliness of work area.

· Keep workplace safe.

· All other duties assigned by supervisor.

 

COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS

May use flat carts, hand trucks, pallet jack, shrink-wrap machine and Little David auto sealer.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stack, fill and count products. Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, stoop and kneel. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform key job elements.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Prior experience working on a manufacturing machine required.

$15.75/hour
