CABVI is seeking a Material Handler to maintain smooth and accurate flow of materials from receipt, to transfer, to storage and shipping.

KEY JOB ELEMENTS

  • Ensure production employees have ample raw materials to work. Provide additional work material as needed.
  • Assist in production reporting to supervisor. Accurately record raw and finished product.
  • Locate product on racking.
  • Ensure cleanliness of work area.
  • Keep workplace safe.
  • All other duties assigned by supervisor. 

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Must be able to work well with others.

COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS

May use flat carts, hand trucks, pallet jack, shrink-wrap machine and Little David auto sealer.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to take direction as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.  Must be able to stack, fill and count products.  Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, stoop and kneel. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform key job elements.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent.  Previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.

$16.90/hr
