CABVI’s Base Supply Centers

CABVI operates six Base Supply Centers (BSCs) on military installations across the northeast, where we sell office supplies and other items manufactured by people who are blind or severely handicapped.

The BSCs also provide Federal customers with thousands of products and supplies when requested.

  • Island Express: Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island
  • Tobyhanna Office Express: Tobyhanna Army Depot, Pennsylvania
  • Arsenal Express: Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey

 

CABVI’s BSCs create employment opportunities for people who are blind. Each store employs, at a minimum, one employee who is blind or severely handicapped.

These stores generate more than $8 million in gross sales each year, and a portion of that revenue helps support services and programs at CABVI.
